    Taken from Rick Riordan's book about a 12 year old demi-god, the big screen adaptation of Percy Jackson follows the teenage son of Poseidon (played with suitable magnificence by Rome's Kevin McKidd) who is accused by long-lost uncle Zeus (Sean Bean) of stealing his fiercest weapon – the lightning bolt. Setting out to prove his innocence, and rescue his kidnapped mum from the clutches of Hades (played as Saxondale Jr. by Steve Coogan), Percy must facing off against various ancient foes.

    The story of a young girl who is murdered by a soft-spoken serial-killer in the neighbourhood. After death, instead of ‘moving on’, she continues to linger and observes how her family deals with the tragedy and tries to apprehend her killers while he skillfully covers his tracks, misleads the police and prepares to spring his trap on another innocent soul.

    The story of a wounded ex-marine, thrust unwillingly into an effort to settle and exploit an exotic planet rich in bio-diversity, who eventually crosses over to lead the indigenous race in a battle for survival.

  • Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel
    David Seville sends Alvin, Simon, and Theodore off to school, saying "it's good for them."
