The Ramada Tamworth M42 has just undergone a 1 million pound refurbishment program of public areas that has delivered a brand new Reception, Bar, Restaurant and Conference Rooms. The hotel is perfectly located on the outskirts of Tamworth and Burton upon Trent, midway between Birmingham and Nottingham/Derby just off Junction 11 of the M42. This modern hotel is an ideal location for business and leisure guests, just a short journey away from the NEC and all of the Midlands tourist attractions, including Nottingham and Sherwood Forest, Peak District National Park, Derbyshire Dales, Tamworth Snowdome, Drayton Manor Theme Park, Alton Towers and Twycross Zoo.
Each of the 95 bedrooms has en-suite bathroom, color TV with in-house move channel, hairdryer, direct dial telephones with modem point, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Premier Rooms and non-smoking options are also available. The hotel offers a range of facilities for guests with a perspective disability including fully accessible rooms. As the special couple, you will receive a complimentary stay on the night of your wedding in one of our Premier Upgraded Rooms.
We hold a civil license so you can enjoy your big day all under one roof, you can have your ceremony here followed by your wedding breakfast in our Ashby Suite that can accommodate up to 90 delegates for a sit down dinner. Then why not celebrate into the night with an evening function where we can accommodate up to 110 guests.
We can arrange your evening entertainment whether it be a disco, band or any other entertainment you require. Please discuss your requirements with us and we can then price according to your choice. Our fully licensed bar is available to guests until 12.30am and we are licensed for entertainment until 1.00am.

Preparing your event should be stress free and straight forward, we believe that planning ahead is the key to a successful event. To help you make your event as memorable as possible your own dedicated Event Co-Ordinator is here to help. They will deal with all your queries and questions along the way, and even be there on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
 We believe it is important for you to relax and enjoy your event, and will work hard to ensure that the small touches are met, for example why not try out the menu of your choice before the event to ensure it is everything you had hoped for. Our Menu options are designed to suit all tastes and budgets. The Banqueting menu's start from £19.95 per person and an evening buffet is available from only £9.95 per person.
The Ashby Suite is our newly refurbished banqueting room that can be used for all types of occasion, and can hold up to 120people for a sit down meal with out a dance floor. The hotel can provide s DJ, band or any other type of entertainment that you may wish to have at your event. Our fully licensed bar is available to guests until 12.30am and we are licensed for entertainment until 1.00am any day of the week.
